Description

Our popular pie-making workshop is back! Learn the basics of pie-making from two local experts, Rose Concepcion and Thuy Kelp of Doughgirls Comfort Kitchen & Bakeshop, at this all fun, no fuss workshop.  Rose and Thuy will teach you how to make the most tender, flakey pastry and the most delicious fillings. During this workshop, you will mix, roll, assemble, and bake a pie to take home as well as enough pastry for your next creation.  Master the art of pie-making just in time to take advantage of the abundance of the spring and summer harvest!

Please note that due to the size of our cozy bakery, there is a limit of 10 participants per Doughgirls class.

About the Instructors

Rose Concepcion and Thuy Kelp are two long-time friends who met working in the culinary industry many years ago. Their shared passion for cooking, baking and all things pertaining to food and hospitality has inspired their careers as chefs, including their latest project, “Doughgirls Comfort Kitchen & Bakeshop”.  Their passion shines through in the quality of their goods and a desire to share their beautiful creations with their customers and students.
