Learn how to grow food in space-limited urban settings, such as balconies, containers, and small patios, in ways that maximize space and yields for your own edible landscape.
This beginner level workshop will cover:
- Maintaining healthy soil with common potting mixes and composts
- Water management in various common containers
- Companion planting
- Succession planting
About the Instructor
Silvia Di Blasio, CCDP, is an experienced certified life and career coach with a special passion for food sovereignty. Apart from her usual work, Silvia teaches many food skills workshops around Vancouver from meal planning to vegetable gardening to food preservation methods. Silvia is also a permaculture practitioner, teacher, and consultant.
