The 16th Annual FarmAde

The Dance is on RAIN OR SHINE.

FarmAde: Square dancing into the sunset, the sizzle from the grills, laughter from the beer gardens and hazy picnics.

Square dance into the sunset. Relax with your loved ones, new and old to say good bye to the harvest and hello to the new academic year.

We are pleased to announce the return of the 16th annual UBC FarmAde! Started in 2001 as a (successful) community effort to help save the UBC farm from residential development. FarmAde has grown over the years into one of the largest annual events at UBC. It marks the beginning of UBC’s school year, the harvest season and reliably occurs on one of the first Fridays of September. FarmAde brings everyone together for a big bash to celebrate the end of summer. It is also known as one of the only free and all ages welcome back dances at UBC for the return of the school year!
