U-Pick Hops 2017

Hello homebrewers of Vancouver,

UBC Farm hop crop is almost ready to harvest! Once again this season we are happy to offer local homebrewers the opportunity to pick their own fresh hops in our hopyard. This is a fun opportunity for anyone who would like to brew a wet hopped beer and/or bring home fresh hops to dry and save!

We have 4 varieties of Certified Organic hops: Cascade, Fuggle, Golding and Mt Hood.

The 2017 prices are: $0.75/oz ($12/lb) or $0.60/oz ($9.6/lb) for 2lbs or more.

If it rains, the harvest will be post-ponded to Tuesday or the following Saturday and this will be announced via this calendar. There is also a possibility for a second harvest day depending how the first one goes. Stay tuned and feel free to send us a message or call to confirm.

It will be first come first serve, so come out early if you can! When you are planning to come, give yourself enough time to harvest the bine(s) and pick the buds off.

Thanks and hop-e to see you soon!
