Learn what and how to plant for continuous harvest this winter. Understanding the needs of each variety is key! Look at design ideas for diverse growing spaces and conditions to help you develop a winter plan for your space, and work on some plant combinations to try out at home. Possible garden tour to see some hands-on applications.

About the Instructor

Jennifer Lipka’s enthusiasm and passion for gardening shines in her workshops. She inspires and teaches her students to grow successful gardens all over the city. She shares her knowledge about organic gardening, botany, seeds and harvesting from her experiences at Kwantlen’s School of Horticulture and West Coast Seeds. She’s spent the last 10 years gardening organically at her local community plot and patio. She is a fourth year B.A. Geography Environment and Sustainability student. She is keen to learn more about the relationships between the plants, pollinators and other insects in her garden and particularly how they are affected by climate and land use change.
