*Online* Build Your Own Hoop Houses To Extend The Growing Season

About this Workshop

In this workshop, Pablo Vimos will show you step by step how to build your own hoop house for your raised bed or ground food bed. This will start with choosing an appropriate location to build your hoop house. Pablo will also explore the benefits of building a hoop house which include extending the growing season deeper into fall and jump starting the growing season earlier in the spring. In this workshop, participants will be welcomed and encouraged (but not required) to make the hoop house during the workshop. NOTE: This project does not use PVC conduit or PVC pipe for hoops; instead, it uses flexible metal rods. A full materials and equipment list will be sent in advance. The workshop and materials list will be focused on the scale of a 4 ft by 8 ft garden bed.
