Honey Extraction

Honey Extraction

About the Workshop

Find out how honey is made and learn to extract it in this hands-on workshop. Participants will learn how honey bees transform floral nectar into honey and then learn how to extract honey themselves. We will use a transparent extractor to see the golden honey spinning out in real time. After straining and bottling the honey, participants will be available to take home a jar for themselves. We will also have a honey tasting station where participants can taste different honey varieties.

This workshop is **family-friendly**! Of course, please ensure that any children are old enough to participate in a manner that is respectful of other guests. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by parent or caretaker. All workshop attendees must be registered.
