Summer Camps
Spend your summer exploring, creating, and connecting with nature at the UBC Farm! Our hands-on summer camps invite children to learn through play, discovery, and meaningful engagement with the land.
Our camps run weekly, Monday to Friday, from June 29th – August 28th.
Farm Wonders (ages 6-9)
Young learners dig into the rhythms of farm life in our beautiful Children’s Learning Garden and across the working farm. Campers plant seeds, meet pollinators at our beehives, harvest seasonal crops, and explore where food comes from – all while building friendships, confidence, and care for the living world around them. Days are filled with garden games, nature crafts, storytelling, and plenty of outdoor adventure!Register here.

Forest Wonders (ages 10-12)
Older campers venture deeper into the UBC Farm’s 24 hectares of second-growth forest and farmland. Through hands-on science investigations, ecological exploration, and creative projects, they’ll uncover the magic of forest ecosystems, seasonal cycles, and sustainable food systems. Expect fort-building, nature journaling, plant and animal identification, wilderness skills, team challenges, and lots of time to roam, wonder, and grow.Register here.
Both camps are rooted in farm-based education, environmental stewardship, and social-emotional learning. Through direct experiences with planting, growing, harvesting, and eating, campers develop a deeper understanding of where their food comes from and their own role within local food systems. Whether your child is drawn to the garden beds or the forest trails, they’ll leave with new skills, stronger connections to nature and community, and memories that last all year.
