Saturday Farmers’ Market Vendor Feature: One Love Farm

This week, we are featuring One Love Farm, a local farm based in Lillooet! They grow and bring delicious, quality fruits and vegetables to the table. They can be found at the market every week, so pop on over to check out the produce and have a chat with farmer Chris!

Why did you start farming? What do you want your customers to know about One Love Farm?

I’m passionate about good food and vegetables! I feel at home working with the earth and with my hands and that’s what drives me. One Love Farm puts a lot of love into the growing of our food and we care a lot about our customers and what we are providing for them. Although we don’t have certified organic status, we don’t use harmful chemicals or sprays because it doesn’t make sense to have harmful chemicals in the food we eat.

What inspired the name of your farm?

One Love Farm speaks to the love energy that’s flowing through everything around us including the love that goes into the food that we grow and provide for our customers.

Where else can you be found other than the UBC Farmers’ market?

We are also at Riley park market every Saturday, and we have an online farm store for our Lillooet, Fraser Valley, and Vancouver customers.
