About the Workshop

Join us for a hands-on kimchi making workshop where you’ll learn the art of crafting this iconic Korean dish from scratch. You’ll learn fermentation basics and the health benefits of eating kimchi. We’ll provide you with all the ingredients and equipment needed to craft your own flavourful batch to take home. All you need to bring is a container for your kimchi. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned enthusiast, come eat, learn, and make your own napa cabbage kimchi! Just bring your own container(s) to take your kimchi home in.

About the Instructor

Kristine Hui, aka Miss Brewbird, is a trained brewer and a professional distiller who has made whisky, gin, and liqueurs professionally in distilleries in the UK and Canada. She even helped to develop a rum recipe which won a Silver medal at the 2021 International Wine and Spirits Competition. She has also appeared as a contestant on Master Distillers on the Discovery channel. She loves fermentation in all its forms, whether it’s fermenting beer, apples, or yogurt.
