Pies from Scratch
About the Workshop
Spring & summer are the seasons for most flavorful fresh ingredients, that means, delicious pies! Learn how to make the perfect pie dough and use it for an infinite number of recipes! In this class, each student will make their own pie dough and assemble a 9” pie and take home for baking in your own oven. The dessert you are making today is a Blueberry Lattice Pie. During the event, Chef will demonstrate how to prepare the best short crust dough, how to assemble the pies, and multiple other ideas. We will bake one pie to eat together. Chef will also demonstrate another recipe: Puff Pastry Thin Apple Tart, a lighter version than your regular apple pie, that we will enjoy together.
